Born and raised on the island of Molokai in the Hawaiian islands with almost a complete absence of distractions, she continues to develop her own style as rare as Molokai itself. As she continues to raise her children, it’s apparent that her business has been nurtured in the same manner, as yet another child of hers.

Kapua u’i was established after the better half of the last decade was spent sharpening the skills essential to create a jewelry brand from the ground up. A brand with raw, delicate and handmade jewelry of quality, developed by a single mother’s judicial understanding and use of time. Tammy Kapua U’i Dunnam, the owner, founder, the creator, designer and the ambassador of this brand, has spent countless days and nights developing her brand while simultaneously balancing life as an entrepreneur and maintaining integrity.
